Preparation
Trim down the the white stem from the bottom of the mushroom to make a flatter surface.
Brush the olive oil on both sides of the mushroom.
Add the minced garlic to both sides of the mushroom.
Place the mushrooms bottom side up in a glass cooking container. You can layer them on top of one another if needed.
Soak the mushrooms with your favorite BnB Saus.
Let marinate for at least 30 minutes. For best results, marinate overnight.
Slice your onions and peppers into thin slices. Place into skillet and drizzle with olive oil.
Grilling Instructions
Heat the grill to 325-350. Place the mushrooms directly on the grill. Cook each side for 4-5 minutes. Depending on how you want the consistency of the mushroom for your burger, once grilled you can place on the top rack and cook longer for a juicier and softer consistency.
While cooking the mushrooms, place your skillet with the onions and peppers on the grill. Cook them down to make a nice topping for the burger.
Grab your buns and brush with a little olive oil and toast.
